Love Never Gives Up

by Sandra on May 1, 2013

“If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love. Love Never Gives up.” (1Corinth. 13:3-7) One day I was taking stock of my life and realize I’ve been pretending: pretending to love others; pretending to love myself, pretending to love what I do – I think you get the picture. I had to truly look at the beliefs I held onto that were causing me to perform and pretend. There were wounds and beliefs about others and myself I had hidden so deep. I never gave them a second thought; however they always showed up outwardly. Some years back it all came to a head and I was forced to deal with SELF. WHEW!!!

Until you heal the wounds of your past you will continue to bleed into your future. Iylana Vanzant.

What wound or belief are you holding on to that will cause you to perform, pretend or hide? It is time to release those wounds and/or beliefs that you are hiding behind. Give yourself permission to stop performing and pretending. Stand in your truth! It will not be easy, however it is a MUST!   Today is the day that you allow love to truly expand in your life. Love is the foundation to all things internal and heals all things. I’ve been on a journey of self love for a few years now. What I have learned is you have the power to create sacred spaces and moments where you can feel safe, loved and comfortable. In this space you can fully express your truth so that you can be completely set free from your hidden secrets and life challenges.  I’ve learned to step confidently and lovingly into my heart space, thereby starting a new love affair with myself.  It’s time you do as well. Start practicing radical TLC so you can love yourself beyond the walls of your wounds.

Today commit yourself to healing your wounds and become devoted to love. Set your attention to transform your thinking and identify completely with your spirit mind and body. Today as you release the wound began to see yourself as God sees you, thereby seeing others as God sees them. On this day rewrite or add a new chapter in your history. Start on your path to truly becoming the giver and receiver of love. When you love from a place of freedom everything else becomes that much easier.

“It is time to live a life of sacred love beyond the walls of your wounds.”  I am not just my sister’s keeper, I am my sister!
