Live The Life You Imagined

by admin on February 28, 2011

speakingWhen there is a holiday or a birthday celebration, I think children should be given books. Books allow a child’s mind to imagine places and things they have yet to see. For children, all the colors of the rainbow are clear. Their thoughts are vast, unedited and free from the influences of adult-thinking and suggestive ways of being.  We can learn a lot from children. Their minds conceive the most outrageous things full of creativity and vivid details. I’m sure you remember the life you dreamed. It may have included the white picket fence with a dog and a house. It may have been your desire to be a nurse, or perhaps a police officer when you grew up. For me, I dreamed and imagined that I was a top Drug Enforcement Agent and that I was responsible for bringing down a major drug cartel in Mexico. Don’t laugh…it’s what I imagined. On another level, I am an enforcement agent but in another dimension. I’m going to leave that one for another time.  Anyway, the fact of the matter is that you if dared to imagine how your life would be, why are you not living it? If you imagined being loved and adored, why are you living life in a shell like a hermit crab? If you imagined owning your own business, when are you going to stop imagining and start putting the business plan together? It’s time for you to LIVE the life you imagined. Kirk Franklin’s song entitled Imagine Me, says Imagine me, Being free; trusting You totally, Finally I can imagine me!  When you begin to imagine again, you will be free and begin to unlock your success.

I’m just sayin’

Love you to life!

Sandra
